Install ToolChameleon as an app
You can keep ToolChameleon on your Home Screen or Dock so it opens like any other app — its own window, its own icon, no address bar. It’s free and takes about ten seconds.
iPhone & iPad
In Safari
- Open toolchameleon.com in Safari.
- Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll down the list and tap “Add to Home Screen”.
- Tap “Add” in the top-right corner. The chameleon icon appears on your Home Screen.
If you came here from Facebook, Instagram or another app, tap the menu and choose “Open in Safari” first — the Share button only exists in Safari.
Android phone & tablet
In Chrome
- Open toolchameleon.com in Chrome.
- Tap the ⋮ menu at the right of the address bar.
- Tap “Add to Home screen” — some phones call it “Install app”.
- Tap “Add” to place the icon.
Mac
In Safari or Chrome
- Open toolchameleon.com.
- In Safari: File → Add to Dock. In Chrome or Edge: click the install icon at the right end of the address bar, then Install.
- Confirm, and the app opens in its own window from your Dock.
Windows
In Chrome or Edge
- Open toolchameleon.com.
- Click the install icon (a small monitor with an arrow) at the right end of the address bar.
- Click “Install”, then confirm. The app gets its own window and a Start menu entry.
What you get
- An app icon on your Home Screen, Dock or Start menu.
- The site opens in its own window, without browser buttons taking up space.
- Your cookie choices and sign-in stay as they are.
Good to know
- The installed app still needs the internet — the tools open from the live site.
- There’s nothing to download from an app store, and no account is needed to use the free tools.
- If you don’t see an install option, you’re probably inside another app’s browser — open the page in Safari or Chrome instead.
- You can remove it any time: press and hold the icon, then choose to delete the app.
